Bosconian (Jakks Pacific 2003 version): 1,033,630 pts
A pretty good Bosconian score I got while streaming it to friends in a VC! Of course not the actual arcade rom, it's an older recreation of the game done by Jakks Pacific in the early 2000s. But it was still a fun chaotic time, as Bosconian should be.
Interestingly, this version doesn't have a high score table or anything. Not even a "Game Over" text. It just sent me back to the title screen after my last life was lost, so I'm happy I recorded the final 50 minutes to get a screenshot of the exact moment my game ended.
Ms. Pac-Man: 136,580 pts (5 lives, normal speed)
I'm not sure if I've ever really documented much of my Ms. Pac-Man scores before, so I'll start now!
Pretty solid game! I want to continue trying some tricks I've been slowly picking up on. They saved me a good handful of times during this run, and I'm sure with enough practice I could definitely get much higher! For now, though, this is satisfactory.
Donkey Kong Jr.: 146,800 pts (Hard mode, 3 lives)
Got this score during Supernova 2025. I'm like 95% sure this was hard mode since there was a lot more going on than what I'm used to on normal, and the enemies were MUCH more aggressive.
Very happy with this one all things considered! I do want to try and grind this game a bit more, partly too because it's my favorite Donkey Kong arcade title out of the three.
Bendy and the Dark Revival: Hard mode, deathless, no upgrades
One day, I decided to challenge myself to beat this game on the hardest difficulty without using any upgrades (aside from the first GENT pipe upgrade which, you know, I kind of need), and taking no deaths.
Unsurprisingly (for those who know me anyway), I managed to do it on my first try! But not without some very close calls, as shown in the screenshots.
The NewZealand Story: 9,999,990 pts
Using the infinite warp exploit between 1-4 & 2-1 in the old version, I managed to successfully reach a score of 9,999,990 pts on the Arcade Archives version for Switch! I was surprised to see only one other person before me had done this, so being in the top 3 to pull it off felt great!
I did take a couple small breaks during my playthrough, but maybe one day I'll try to do it all in one sitting! However that would be like a 9 hour long game, so I would REALLY have to prepare myself for something like that...
Pac-Man: Kill Screen on Quarter Arcade
Something I've always wanted to do since I was little was reach the Pac-Man split screen legitimately, without the use of cheats or level selects. I finally set out to do that one day, and I decided to use my Quarter Arcade unit no less because why the hell not.
I ended up finishing around 3-4 in the morning, and using the tiny joystick wasn't a great idea for my wrist afterwards. But I can at least say I did it! One day I may attempt a perfect score, but I don't see that happening for a while. For now, this is good enough for me!
Dig Dug II NES: 717,800 pts
Not a whole lot to say about this one, I just really locked in during this game and managed to snag a score I'm REALLY proud about! While I'm here, allow me to say Dig Dug II on NES/Famicon is arguably better than the arcade version.
